BORROWING PLAYERS

Borrowing players is split into three different categories:

MiniRoos and Junior’s

Borrowing from players the same age (e.g. U9 to play U9) or younger (e.g. U8 to play U9)

    1. Verbal permission from the players current teams coach
    2. Verbal permission from the players parent

Juniors and Seniors

Borrowing players must comply with Section 7.1 of Football QLD Metro Rules of Competition 2022 This can be a bit tricky as the division that a players team is in determines if that player can substitute. For example: Under 13 Div 1 cannot be borrowed for Under 14 Div 3 because the younger player is in a higher division.

    1. Written permission from the players current teams coach
    2. Written approval from the players parent

“Playing Up”

Must comply with the above ‘Juniors and Seniors’ and in addition the Football QLD Player Dispensation Process. This process changed from 2022 and falls under Football Qld Player Dispensation. This is no longer a  form signed by parents and the club.

    1. Written permission from the players current teams coach
    2. Written approval from the players parent
    3. Players details; height, sitting height, weight
    4. Photos; full length and full length next to a player from the team requesting to play in
    5. Submitted by the Club no later than Wednesday 5:30pm to Football Qld
    6. Football Qld to provide written approval
