DIRECTOR OF COACHING

What is your coaching experience?  I have coached in Australia, USA & the UK across community to professional level with ages 6-senior both male and female. I currently hold my UEFA C License & am undertaking my AFC B License in 2024. Favourite recent experience was my time at London City Lionesses in the Womens Championship as an Assistant/Technical Coach

What do you love about the Bayside? Growing up in the area, I always think of Bayside as family-friendly and being relaxed so close to the water

What do you love about Bayside United? The culture to bring football back to its basics; to fall in love with the game

What do you love about football? Team culture, competitiveness, the people you meet, it’s the World Game

DAVID GREEN:

COACH, METRO WOMEN

What attracted you to Bayside United?

I came to Bayside after my daughter started playing here with some of her friends. Within a season I was also playing Masters football and have continued to coach and play here since. The family atmosphere and community that is Bayside United keeps me here.

Coaching Credentials:

I have completed community level coaching courses and undertaken most of my C-license. I intend, when time permits, to do the C-license again and to keep improving and learning as a coach.

What does a ‘good team’ look like to you?

A good team to me is a team that supports and encourages one another both off and, on the pitch, irrespective of results on game day.

What can your players expect from you?

I have seen firsthand a lot of the players in my team grow from young girls when we started into women now and they have seen me grow and evolve as a coach. Throughout one constant would have been that I am passionate about their success, not necessarily winning all the time, but improving as players to help them reach the best of their ability.

What is your goal for 2025?

Trying our best for back-to-back Premierships for the Bayside metro women’s team. A successful season however will be one where the team is competitive on the pitch and if they are, the results will take care of themselves.

BOBBY GRAHAM

BOBBY GRAHAM

COACH

After almost two seasons away from coaching, I’m excited to be taking on the head coaching role at Bayside Utd alongside Pat for the 2027 season.

Having coached and been involved with some great clubs including St George, Annerley, New Farm and KPR, I’ve always enjoyed the challenge of developing players, building strong cultures and creating teams that genuinely want to compete for each other.

Bayside is a club with a proud history & there is a real opportunity to put the right foundations back in place with a young and hungry group of players.

Our focus will be pretty simple, stabilize, build & develop.
We want to create an environment where players can improve, compete, enjoy their football and grow together, while bringing the right experience into the group to help guide the next generation.

It won’t happen overnight and there will be plenty of work along the way, but Pat and I are both energised by the opportunity and looking forward to seeing what we can build together.

COACH

I’m excited to contribute further to Bayside in my second year involved with the club, after experiencing first hand the amazing culture and community engagement as a player.

I’ve had the opportunity to play across many of the Brisbane leagues representing a few different clubs, and I’m looking forward to build on my previous coaching experiences at New Farm and Annerley, by assisting the Bayside team.

I’m also particularly excited to link up with Bobby again, and continue working together.
The task ahead isn’t so much a challenge, as it is a great opportunity for me to give back to the club and the wider Bayside community. I’m looking forward to bringing my experience, enthusiasm and passion to the role and helping contribute to a successful season.
