When do I start?

The season starts on different dates due to various reasons and the competitions start dates and training schedules will be published once all teams are locked in for 2024

How do I know what to sign up for?

There are different Programs available from ages 3 to over 50s.

Registration options:

Group	Ages	Details
Squirts	ages 3-5	in-house competiton
Miniroos	ages 6-8	in-house competiton
Juniors	ages 9-12	50% of season games played at home, 50% travel within local community
Metro Junior	ages 13+	50% of season games played at home, 50% travel within local community
Metro Comp	Divisions 1-9	Open Men's and Women's teams
Senior	FQPL2	Men's U23 team and 1st team
Masters	34+ Yrs	Over 35's Men's and Woman's teams, Over 45's Men only, but looking for Women's team
Walking Football	50+	Open to all players of a walking capacity only

Which Age-Group Can My Child Play In?

A players age-group for football will be governed by the age they turn on their birthday in the calendar year of the football season. So, if your child turns 10, between the 1st of January and 31 December, they will play in Under 10’s for that season.

As a guideline, the qualifying birth years for the 2023 season are:

Under 6 born in 2018

Under 7 born in 2017

Under 8 born in 2016

Under 9 born in 2015

Under 10 born in 2014

Under 11 born in 2013

Under 12 born in 2012

Under 13 born in 2011

Under 14 born in 2010

Under 15 born in 2009

Under 16 born in 2008
