JUNIORS
SQUIRTS - 3-5 Years old
The Bayside United Squirts program is a fun introduction for children aged 3 to 5 years old to the basics of football by focusing on running, stopping, turning, balance, movement and general coordination through various exercises and games. Ultimately it is an opportunity for young children to enjoy and love the game of football. Registration to the Squirts program can also be arranged during these sessions if your child continues in the program, with the season commencing around April.

MINIROOS - U6 - U12 OVERVIEW
MiniRoos is a smaller version of football that provides boys and girls aged U6 – 12 with a fun introduction to the world game.
MiniRoos is designed for kids; it is all about having fun, learning new skills and making life-long friends.
Delivered by grassroots clubs across Australia, MiniRoos provides opportunities for boys and girls of all abilities, shapes and sizes to play football. Miniroos increases in complexity as kids get older and more confident in their skills and abilities. MINIROOS - U6-U7
MINIROOS - U8-U9
Welcome to seven versus seven football. U8 games are also played on a slightly larger “quarter pitch”, at the club Saturday mornings at 8am. The season starts in Term two.
U9 games are also on a quarter pitch with seven a side. However, in order to further development, U9 is when teams start travelling to ‘away’ games. All fixtures are shared in Squadi, so that you know where you are travelling to and can plan accordingly.

MINIROOS - U10-U12
U10-U12 games are played on a half pitch. These games also involve home and away games which will be communicated on Squadi so that you can plan accordingly.

METRO JUNIORS
These teams graduate to a full-sized pitch with a combination of home and away games. We have multiple teams in this age category that we would love to talk to you about.

At Bayside United we believe every child deserves the joy of playing team sports. Team sport is fundamentally important to building skills, confidence and connections.
That's why, in 2025, in partnership with More than Care Support Team, we are thrilled to once again be able to offer our Community Support Program. More than Care will fund 𝟮𝟬 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲-𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲. This contribution will be dollar matched by Bayside United.

⚽Free one-year membership including a free soccer uniform (jersey, shorts and socks)
⚽Weekly training sessions and friendly matches
⚽A safe and supportive environment to learn and grow.
