REGISTRATION PROCESS 2023

HOW TO REGISTER:

1. Register with Football Australia

All Coaches, Managers, Referees & Volunteers (except Squirts ages 3 – 5 years) are required to register with Play Football, Football Australia (FA).

Registration with FA will provide you with an “FFA Number” which is like a free nation-wide membership number for use at any football club in Australia. If you do not have an FFA already, go to www.playfootball.com.au/register and choose the option that best suits you:

Re-registering to play this season (Go to my account and sign in)
New to Football (For players who have not registered before)
Coaches, Referees and Volunteers (For non-playing roles)

If you already have an FFA, go to Step 2 to set yourself up in Squadi.

2. Register with Football QLD in Squadi

Squadi is a Football QLD App that was released early in 2023. It is designed to streamline the organisation and management of football clubs in QLD. Once you have access to the App, you will be able to see parent, child, player account details and match information. You will be able to make payments and receive club updates straight to your phone or email.

You should receive an email from Squadi after you register on play football. Download the Squadi App and use the log ins in the email to set it up.

Once you have downloaded the app you will need to set it up. You can use this 2:54 minute video from Football QLD to guide you through the process. Key points in the video:

In “Watchlist” (41 seconds) select “Add a Team”
Search for “Bayside United Sports and Recreation Club” and tap to select.
Search for your Team (54 secs) and tap to select (if you know the team’s name)
Select done, then done

You should now have the ability to view draws and ladders on your home page.

Tips:

If you are a parent, you will need to set up an account for yourself and your child (see parent video for help).
If you do not have a Team yet (or we haven’t set them up in the background yet) don’t worry, just focus on getting the rest of it set up.

3. MAKE PAYMENT

Make your payment through the Squadi App.

We want you to be able to play and have multiple payment options available such as payment plans and instalments. If you would like to take advantage of these, please contact registrar@baysideunited.com.au to discuss.
